Mounting Plain Cylinder Wheels (Type 2)

  • The recess into which the wheel is to be inserted should be examined to ensure that it is thoroughly clean and free of any old adhesive material.

  • The recess should not have any burrs on the outside or inside wheel locations that might impair the entry of the wheel into the location groove.
  • A suitable synthetic adhesive should be applied into the groove.

  • The wheel should then be inserted into the adhesive, label first, ensuring that it is square to the backplate and the adhesive allowed to set in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
