OUR MISSION – Mike Petsch & Associates, Inc. is a company that strives to make our customers more productive by offering engineered solutions that include equipment, tooling, and ideas. Our goal is to operate the company on a sustainable financial basis of profitable growth that increases value to our shareholders. We work to minimize our negative impact on the environment. We are a customer responsive, service oriented supplier that offers high quality performance based products to exceed our customer's requirements and expectations. At Mike Petsch & Associates, Inc., we operate by the following policies, terms and conditions for our web transactions:

ORDERS - We strive to process your order quickly. You will receive an acknowledgment for your order that describes what you ordered, the pricing, the delivery, shipping address, billing address and other terms.

COMMUNICATION – We will promptly answer any questions or call if we have questions concerning your order. We will strive to make sure that we both understand the product specifications before we start production of special items. We will provide a drawing for your tooling or equipment as appropriate for the circumstances. We will notify the buyer if the order will be significantly delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.

PRODUCT QUALITY – Product quality is guaranteed to meet the specifications when the order was accepted. We will work to correct any problems.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS - The customer may cancel their order for any reason prior to shipment. Cancellations for special orders are subject to charges for labor and materials completed or furnished as of the date of the cancellation. Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been charged and/or shipped out. In the event that a cancellation was submitted before your order for a standard item was already shipped, we will gladly refund the complete balance charged including shipping. However, if the cancellation was documented as received after the order was shipped, we will issue a refund for the merchandise total (less shipping) upon its return to our facility.

Cancellations must be confirmed in writing by e-mail <petsch@juno.com> or fax (937-438-8035 Attn: Mike Petsch) Cancellations must contain the following: First name, last name, order number, and email address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order. Please provide contact information so that we may contact you if we have questions in regards to canceling your order. Refunds will be issued in the same form payment was made. Please allow 10 days for processing.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS - Subsequently, from time to time, if we are not able to fulfill your order, you will be notified via email for any item that is temporarily out of stock or simply cannot be fulfilled within the delivery period quoted. An immediate credit will be issued (upon your request) to your method of payment.

SHIPPING POLICY – Standard stock items are shipped, on average, within 2 to 3 days from the time your order is placed. Special orders are shipped, on average, within 1 to 2 weeks from the time your order is placed unless otherwise quoted. We will notify you when your direct order is shipped from our facility and attempt to keep you informed of the status of drop shipped items. On average you should expect to receive your order for a stock item within 5 to 7 business days from the time that you place your order. Goods will be shipped via the most economical method unless otherwise requested by the buyer. Shipments are made FOB (Ex Works) from our plant. The shipping terms and delivery promises indicated on your quotation supersede the website policy.

DUTIES AND TAXES - Local duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Your company must furnish a state sales tax exemption certificate upon our request

ORDERS NOT RECEIVED - Once an order has been shipped and there is a delivery confirmation, Mike Petsch & Associates, Inc. is not responsible for any theft of product or delivery to the wrong address. You must notify us within 15 days of shipment notification if your order is not received.

TRUCKING COMPANY DAMAGE - Please notify us if your item was damaged in a common carrier shipment and has visible carton damage upon receipt. You may also choose to not accept the shipment, but if you do accept the shipment, the buyer must note the carton damage with the driver upon signing for the package. The common carrier is usually responsible for shipping damages. The seller cannot file a claim with the carrier unless we also arranged the shipment. We will need evidence of the damage from the buyer to file a claim within 5 days of your acceptance of the package. If the buyer arranged for the shipment using their account, then the buyer must file a claim for damages with the carrier, usually within 10 days of shipment.

RETURN POLICY- If the items shipped are not as described, we will either correct the problem with your tooling or provide a refund. In most cases this will be minus our return shipping, although if it was a blatant mistake by us we'll pick up everything. Bottom line, we want you happy but we are also not running a tool rental business!

  • Please call 937-438-8031 or email <petsch@juno.com> for a Return Authorization number (returns will not be accepted unless accompanied by this number) and be sure to write your RA number on the shipping label.
  • All returns must be in their original packaging and shipped back to their original point of shipment unless otherwise instructed by the seller. If you are in doubt as to where to ship the product back, call please call 937-438-8031
  • Items purchased and then modified or altered by the buyer will not be accepted for return.
  • Claims for discrepancies in shipment must be made within 7 days of receipt of merchandise or they will not be accepted. Materials received more than 30 days after the date of shipment will not be accepted.
  • Your return will not be processed if you do not provide the following information:

The Return number
Your full name and address
Phone number
Email address
Packing slip copy
The reason for returning the merchandise

  • A restocking fee of up to 80% will be charged for custom and specially designed print items unless the item is defective. If the custom item being returned can be resold as a standard item, then we may be able to refund the difference in cost between a standard item and the special item you ordered. Special items are deemed not defective if they meet the specifications shown on the part print provided with the quotation.
     
USE OF PRODUCT FOR INTENDED PURPOSE – We make every effort to make sure no one gets hurt with our products, but if you use a straight edge as a club and then beat someone over the head, it’s really not our fault. Do not drop our heavy tooling on any body part as it may cause pain and injury. Lifting heavy items can cause back injuries. Our tooling may have oil covered surfaces and sharp edges so prevent injuries by taking appropriate safety precautions that may include using appropriate gloves and lifting straps. The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Seller of and from any and all claims or liabilities from accidents involving this product including but not excluding those caused by the failure of user, his employees, or agents to follow those instructions, warnings, or recommendations available from the original manufacturer, or by the failure of the user to comply with government regulations or conform with industry standards applicable to such equipment. The Seller shall also not be liable for any consequential damages resulting from the use of this product.

NO VERBAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – If you need special terms to make you happy, then we both need to agree to them in writing before you order our product. Our acknowledgment of a buyer's purchase order provisions will not supersede, modify, or detract from the conditions of this policy. There are no other agreements, warranties, or oral understandings that are outside of this policy unless superseded by our written quotation.

The prices, specifications and delivery dates are based on costs and conditions existing on the date of quotation and may be subject to change by the seller before final acceptance of your order.
 
PRIVACY POLICY - We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to fulfill your requests for information about our company. Please read on for more details about our privacy policy.

The information we collect allows us to respond to customer requests for business and marketing purposes. It may also be used to improve the content of our website. When you request information about our company, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number. We use this information to process and fulfill your request.

We do collect information on which pages of our website have been accessed by individual visitors. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent on the site and pages viewed. We use this information for internal review only, in an effort to measure site usage and improve site content.

We do not store your credit card information online. Our website credit card processing uses a secure third-party site with encrypted data transmission.

We promise not to divulge to anyone, including you, exactly what information we are collecting about your personal identity, shopping habits, sexual predilections, midnight chocolate binges, and bizarre tastes in draperies. We may attempt to use this information in an effort to improve your experience at our site, but we promise that, no matter how many attempts we make, your experience will not actually improve. We will, however consistently refine the demographic appropriateness of the content on our site, until at last the only ad you see will be the one taken out by your spouse, telling you to log off and come back to bed.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. Any information volunteered by you on our website may be supplied to our authorized agents, but only when a visitor to the site is specifically requesting information about our products and services. In addition, we promise not to share this confidential information with any other organization, unless we or one of our subsidiaries is purchased by said organization, purchases said organization, or someone parks a barge full of money in our CEO’s swimming pool. Trust us.

We do not use any of the cookies that you may find on your system. "Cookies" are very small information packets that are stored on your computer's hard drive and used to enable specific browsing features. We refuse to confirm the rumor that we choose not to use these features because of any lack of ability.
